Truck Crash Cleared on Route 9 In Berlin: UPDATE

BERLIN, CT — A tractor-trailer accident on Route 9 in Berlin caused traffic obstacles for motorists on Friday, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it has now been cleared.

The DOT reports the crash involved a tractor-trailer hitting a "fixed object" on Route 9 South between exits 33 and 32, resulting in the right lane being closed.

The accident was first reported at 11 a.m., and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
