BERLIN, CT — A tractor-trailer accident on Route 9 in Berlin caused traffic obstacles for motorists on Friday, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it has now been cleared. The DOT reports the crash involved a tractor-trailer hitting a "fixed object" on Route 9 South between exits 33 and 32, resulting in the right lane being closed.
