BERLIN, CT — A vehicle blaze on Route 9 in Berlin caused traffic issues for motorists Thursday morning, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it has since been cleared. The DOT reports the vehicle fire was on Route 9 South between exits 31 and 30, resulting in the closure of the state highway's right lane.
