Yummy! Berlin Library Celebrating Sandwiches
The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library is celebrating National Sandwich Month with myriad book selections with food and sandwiches as the theme.
BERLIN, CT — This month is a very special month for those who love to eat, especially if your name is "Dagwood Bumstead."
After all, the iconic comic character does love himself a good sandwich now and then. There's even one named for him.
This month, the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library, located at 234 Kensington Road, is celebrating Dagwood's delectibles.

August is National Sandwich Month, and the library is stacking up a book list to celebrate.
"From foodie fiction and culinary capers to nonfiction bites about food history and culture, these titles are as satisfying as your favorite sandwich," wrote the library.
