Now through Friday, sewer main repair work is being done on the north side of Main Street between Park Place and Harrison Avenue.

BRANFORD, CT — Repairs to the town sewer main, "to stay ahead of the Main Street reconstruction project," are underway through Friday on the north side of Main Street between Park Place and Harrison Avenue, according to the town.

The utility repairs and relocations are to facilitate the Main Street reconstruction project but doesn't signal the start of that project.

The Wastewater Treatment Plant contracted with Laydon Industries to make the repairs.
