Aleia's Gluten Free Foods Leaving Branford, Expanding: Report
The company is moving from its Pin Oak Business Park location to Commerce Street in East Haven, the New Haven Register reported.
BRANFORD, CT — Branford-based Aleia's Gluten Free Foods is moving its business to East Haven, the New Haven Register reported.
Though it's currently located in the Pin Oak Business Park (4 Pin Oak Dr.), the business will relocate to 133 Commerce St., East Haven, according to the newspaper.
Joe Budrow, East Haven's zoning enforcement officer, told the New Haven Register that the company is proposing a "major business expansion and parking lot improvement."

According to the company's website, Aleia's sells gluten-free cookies, croutons, stuffing and bread crumbs.
It was founded by a Culinary Institute of America alum who "made it her mission to ensure Celiac Disease and her journey to good health never got in the way of her enjoyment of food," the website reads.

In its story, the New Haven Register also reported that a Taco Bell may be coming to Frontage Road in East Haven.
