BRANFORD, CT — The Branford Arts and Cultural Alliance announced it will once again transform its downtown gallery into a winter wonderland for the annual Holiday Trees Festival.

On view Friday, Nov. 14 through Sunday, Dec. 11, the exhibit features more than 36 beautifully decorated, pre-lit artificial trees and a variety of hand-decorated holiday wreaths, all available for purchase or bidding via silent auction, the Alliance shared in a news release.

All trees and wreaths have been decorated by local volunteers and are generously sponsored by area businesses or individuals, BACA noted.

The event officially kicks off with a festive Holiday Tree Opening Reception on Friday at 5:30 p.m., where guests will enjoy light refreshments and start off the silent bidding and auction, the arts group noted, adding the bidding continues throughout the duration of the exhibit and closes on Sunday, Dec. 11.

Proceeds from the event benefit BACA’s nonprofit mission to support local arts and culture, including its annual scholarship awarded to a Branford high school senior pursuing studies in the arts, the Alliance shared. This initiative reflects BACA’s ongoing commitment to fostering the next generation of artists and creatives in the community, it noted.
