Branford Community Foundation, GSB Names Sponsorship Awardees
The $6,000 represents the final installment of $30,000 in sponsorship funding from Branford Community Foundation and GSB in 2024.
BRANFORD, CT — The Branford Community Foundation announced the third and final round of 2024 sponsorship awards in partnership with GSB.
The Foundation said $6,000 is distributed in the final round, resulting in a total of $30,000 awarded in sponsorships in 2024. Sponsorships are considered for a single event or a series of individual events held by an organization over a given time period, to increase visibility or for fundraising.

- Clifford W. Beers Guidance Clinic, Inc. (Builders of Hope 2024 - 9/18/2024)
- North Branford Rotary Fall Fling (Murder Mystery Dinner at Woodwinds - 11/9/2024)
- Shoreline Eldercare Alliance (Aging and Thriving: Healthy Habits Healthy Life - 9/11/2024)
- Shoreline Village CT (Member Recruitment Events)
- Soundview Family YMCA (18th Annual Golf Tournament & Sweat For a Cause -9/10/2024 & 10/5/2024)
"Thank you to all the community organizations that have submitted sponsorship applications this year," BCF noted in a news release. "While the Foundation is unable to award a sponsorship for every single request submitted, BCF is grateful for the work that each one of these organizations is doing for Branford and beyond. Information on sponsorships for the 2025 calendar year will be available in the coming months."

The Branford Community Foundation, founded in 1980, is a public, nonprofit, tax-exempt, charitable trust. It provides an administrative, philanthropic service – a means by which public-spirited citizens may make gifts or bequests, the income from which is distributed for educational, cultural, health, social and civic needs. The Foundation is overseen by the Board of Directors, composed of community leaders who serve without compensation and who have been selected for their knowledge, interest, and integrity of judgment. A part-time executive director works with the Board of Directors, and Advisors provide outreach with the community, give guidance to the Board, and help to develop future leadership.
