Branford Democrats Drop Support For Longtime Town Clerk Marianne Kelly

Tuesday night, the Democratic Town Committee withdrew their support for Town Clerk Marianne Kelly after she was subpoenaed for her alleged role in an illegal pyramid scheme.

The Branford Eagle reports that Kelly is seeking her fifth term as Branford Town Clerk this November, but the Branford Democratic Town Committee instead chose to endorse another candidate - Pam Knapp - for the position.
