Branford Girls Softball Registration Open Through March 18
The 8U, 11U and 14U divisions run from early May-late June, while the 18U division runs from mid-June to late July. Registration costs $100.
BRANFORD, CT — Registration for the Branford Girls Softball recreational league's 2022 season is now open, and parents can register their children until March 18.
Registration costs $100, and girls ages 6-18 can play on a team in one of four age group divisions:
- 8U (ages 6-8)
- 11U (ages 9-11)
- 14U (ages 12-14)
- 18U division (ages 14-18)
All of the division's seasons will begin in early May and run to late June — except the 18U division, which will begin in mid-June and run to late July.

Rosters will be released the week of March 24, and parents will then be contacted by their child's coach who will email a link to order a uniform. Uniforms must be ordered by April 1
"BGS is a fast pitch girls softball nonprofit organization emphasizing hard work, dedication, integrity, sportsmanship, ethical behavior, and the development of athletic skills," Sean Reilly of Branford Girls Softball told Patch.
