Sept. 17

Richard Stokes, 67, of Branford, was charged with cruelty to animals.

Sept. 18

Avante Ryan, 23, of Hartford, was charged with first-degree conspiracy to commit aggravated sexual assault, first-degree assault, conspiracy to commit first-degree assault, cruelty to persons, conspiracy to commit cruelty to persons, first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, criminal use of a firearm, first-degree kidnapping with a firearm, conspiracy to commit first-degree kidnapping with a firearm, first-degree threatening, and risk of injury to a child.

Sept. 19

Kevin Miranda-Velazquez, 22, of New Haven, was charged with second-degree assault.

Gregory Elliott Camp, 29, of Sacramento, CA, was charged with disorderly conduct.

Sept. 20

Frederick Charles Bemis, 63, of Branford, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and illegal carrying of a firearm while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Michael J. Benevich, 36, of East Haven, was charged with three counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Sept. 21

Rashawn Raekwon Bryant, 30, of Branford, was charged with violation of a protective order, first-degree criminal trespass, second-degree criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct.

Sept. 23

Ami Catherine Palluotto, 45, of Branford, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and driving the wrong way on a divided highway.

Michael J. Benevich, 36, of East Haven, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia.

Anthony William Benevich, 39, of West Haven, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass.

Deborah A. Volpe, 64, of Branford, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia.

Victor Hugo Garcia-Quilambaqui, 42, of Branford, was charged with disorderly conduct.
