Branford Public Schools Hosts PreK/K Registration Event

Parents are encouraged to register their children for PreK/K during the three-day registration drive.

Branford parents are encouraged to register their children for pre-k and kindergarten at the school in their attendance district on April 5th & 6th from 9-10:30 a.m. and April 7th from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Appointments are not necessary for registration. Pre-registration is available online here.

For Pre-K your child needs to be four years of age before January 1, 2017. For Kindergarten your child needs to be five years of age before January 1, 2017. Parents must provide the child’s birth certificate with a raised seal and TWO (2) proofs of residence. Proofs of residence are:

 Utility bill in the occupant’s name
 Notarized lease or rental agreement
 Purchase or sales agreement for house or property

Parents are required to bring a copy of a custody agreement (if applicable) and the child’s current physical exam listing all immunizations.
