Branford Recreation Department Hosts Trip to NYC to See Elf, The Musical

Registration is currently being taken at the Recreation Department.

The Branford Recreation Department is sponsoring a bus trip to see Elf, The Broadway Musical Saturday, Dec.12 at The Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York City, according to a press release.

Cost for the trip is $65 per person, which includes transportation, tickets, shopping time on your own and bus driver’s gratuity, the release says. Registration is being taken at the Recreation Department.

Those attending will depart from the Branford Recreation Department, located at 46 Church St., at 8 a.m., and all participants will have from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to enjoy the holiday sights, get some last minute holiday shopping in and grab a bite to eat prior to the start of the show, the release says.

Elf will start at 2 p.m. and doors to the theatre will open at 1:30 p.m., the release says. Following the show, the bus will depart from New York City at about 5 p.m. and will arrive back at the Branford Recreation Department at around 8 p.m.
