1. Winning Ways CT — With a focus on supporting individuals who were formerly incarcerated and individuals recovering from substance abuse, Winning Ways CT helps people set and achieve their goals. This organization seeks to improve participants’ well-being while building a strong sense of community with programs that include financial literacy, art and job readiness. 2. Branford Community Garden — This volunteer organization is dedicated to promoting local, organic produce and manages the 22-plot community garden on Birch Road. 3. Branford Land Trust — Since 1967, the Branford Land Trust has been working to preserve the community’s open spaces and provide education through public outreach.
