BRANFORD, CT — Spring leaf collection and yard-waste pickup is underway in Branford.

Leaves must be placed in brown paper leaf bags and placed to the curb on your collection day, only on the designated weeks.

Yard waste must be scheduled for pickup. Yard waste days are the second and fourth Friday of each month, April through November.

Meanwhile, brush chipping has begun at the Transfer Station. This process is expected to take about one week to complete. There is a possibility that chipping may be delayed or take longer than planned. Updates will be posted if the schedule changes.

For safety reasons no one is allowed to enter the back of the property while the machine is running; therefore, we cannot accept leaves or brush at this time.
