More Branford Spots Step Up To Feed Unpaid Fed Workers, Hungry

A number of restaurants and delis in Branford are offering meals for federal workers who aren't being paid and others in need of food

BRANFORD, CT - In the past few days a number of food establishments in Branford have stepped up to help federal workers who have gone over a month without being paid by offering free meals.

And, the offer of free food hasn't ended there - as a well-known delicatessan is now extending the offer to anyone who is hungry.

The free food offering started with Crostini on Meadow Street offering free breakfast to any government worker who has been impacted by the ongoing federal government shutdown. That offer started on January 17th.
