Popular Eatery Opening Branford Location: Report

BRANFORD, CT — With one line on their Facebook page, Little Pub, announced plans to open a new location in Branford.

"Coming this Summer- Little Pub Branford. See you soon! xoxo, lp," the owners wrote.

And that was the end of their statement. While the post was light on specifics, The Connecticut Scoop had the key particulars. The Connecticut Scoop reports that the Little Pub will open at 120 North Main St. sometime later this summer. (Read more from The Connecticut Scoop here).

The Little Pub will be moving into the former The Essex Brasserie location.

If you're not familiar with the Little Pub they operate locations in Wilton, Stratford, Greenwich, Old Saybrook, Westport, and Fairfield.

In a 2019, Patch article, it states Doug Grabe and his wife, Daneen, own the Little Pub.

Menu items include: burgers, macaroni and cheese, salads, wraps, tacos, soup, chili, sandwiches, seafood, chick 'N' waffles and more.

On their website it states, "Little Pub: Great Food, Generous Drinks, Unbeatable Atmosphere Looking for a top-rated neighborhood pub in Connecticut? Little Pub offers delicious food, craft cocktails, and a lively atmosphere that makes every visit unforgettable."
