Jean O'Connor, 78, was secretary to Walsh Intermediate School principal, and won service awards for dedication to Branford's Recreation Department, Education Hall of Fame and high school swim teams.
Kathryn Platt, 98, was a Registered Nurse at the Hospital of St. Raphael (now the Yale New Haven Hospital Saint Raphael Campus), before leaving to raise her five children, and was active in her church and community.
