Scrooge and Marley Coming to Legacy Theatre

Legacy Theatre Patrons had a say in New Family Holiday Musical: Scrooge and Marley

Press release

Branford, CT - The Legacy Theatre, currently celebrating its 5th Anniversary Season, listened to their patrons and is producing a new family holiday musical that should satisfy all those that offered input. The new holiday production, Scrooge and Marley, will premier December 4th. Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, July 15th at 10:00am.

Legacy Executive Artistic Director, Keely Baisden Knudsen, “In our first four seasons, we concluded each year with our adaptation of A Christmas Carol. It's been one of our best attended shows. We always listen to our audience, and we received two diverse thoughts from patrons, 1. Keep doing A Christmas Carol every season – it’s a great family tradition; 2. Change it up. Maybe do A Christmas Carol on alternating years. We hope that this year’s show will satisfy both pieces of feedback, as we present a musical prequel to A Christmas Carol, called Scrooge and Marley. We think those who love A Christmas Carol will be fascinated to learn the story of Scrooge and Marley in this musical prequel."
