$100,000 Winning Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Bridgeport
A local resident is also the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — An unnamed Bridgeport resident is $100,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Monday, the person claimed a winning $500,000 CASHWORD ticket that was bought at Grand Package Store on Main Street.
The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $30 per ticket, began in November 2023, and as of Tuesday, 0ne grand prize of $500,000 remained unclaimed; all the second place prizes of $100,000 have now been claimed.
More than 1.5 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 2.78.
