2 Winning Scratch-Off Lottery Tickets Sold In Bridgeport

Both lucky tickets were claimed in the past week, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — An unnamed Bridgeport resident and an unnamed Stratford resident are both $10,000 richer this week after claiming winning lottery tickets purchased in Bridgeport, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Friday, the Bridgeport resident claimed a winning $2,000,000 Jackpot ticket that was bought at Ali Shell Mart on Main Street.

And on Tuesday, the Stratford resident claimed a winning 200X ticket that was purchased at Junco & Daughter Caribbean Market on Fairfield Avenue.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The $2,000,000 Jackpot game, which costs $20 per ticket, began in July, and as of Wednesday, all three grand prizes of $2 million remained unclaimed. Overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.08.

As for the 200X game, tickets also cost $20, and the game began in February. One grand prize of $1 million remains unclaimed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.21.
