22-Year-Old Man Dies From Gunshot Wounds: Bridgeport Police
The New Haven man was shot in Bridgeport on Oct. 20, according to authorities.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — New Haven resident Jahseim Cherry, 22, has died from injuries he sustained in an Oct. 20 shooting in Bridgeport, according to Bridgeport Police Capt. Kevin Gilleran.
Cherry had been in critical condition following the shooting, which took place on Goddard Avenue.
"The Bridgeport Police Department offers their sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Jahseim," Gilleran said in a statement.

The Bridgeport Police Department is asking for the public's help in solving the crime. Anyone with information is asked to contact the case officer, Detective Jeffrey Holtz, at 203-581-5243.
