A local resident is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — An unnamed Bridgeport resident is $40,000 richer this week after claiming a winning KENO lottery ticket purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
The person claimed the winning ticket on Thursday; it had been bought at the Extra Fuel Mart on Boston Avenue.
The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

In KENO, players can buy tickets for $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20, and the game offers players a chance to win from $1 to $1 million.
