'Beardsley Brew': CT's Beardsley Zoo Launches Limited Edition Beer

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo has teamed up with Foolproof Brewing Company in Bridgeport to launch a limited-edition “Beardsley Brew.”

The new beer will debut at an event from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at Foolproof Brewing Company's spot at 800 Union Ave. in Bridgeport. The event is open to the public.

According to officials, the brew's label features "stunning hand-sketched art of amazing animals created by a talented Connecticut artist."

100 percent of proceeds from every brew purchased will directly support zoo's Education Programs.
