Bridgeport Ed Board, Schools Superintendent Agree To Part Ways: Report
Carmela Levy-David, who held the post for just under a year and a half, had lost the confidence of the district's teachers.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — The Bridgeport Board of Education and embattled Schools Superintendent Dr. Carmela Levy-David have mutually reached an agreement for Levy-David to leave the district, the Connecticut Post reported.
Earlier this week, the board approved a separation agreement that had been negotiated with Levy-David, who has been on a leave of absence for a few weeks.
Terms of the separation agreement were not disclosed.
