Bridgeport Man Pleads Guilty to Trafficking Teenage Girl

Investigators say the girl saw approximately 10 clients per day.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A local man plead guilty to a sex trafficking charge Monday in U.S. District Court in connection with the sex trafficking of a 15-year-old girl, according to the U.S. Attorney's office. Darryl Morris, a.k.a. "King Sincere," 32, of Bridgeport facilitated the prostitution of a 15-year-old girl at his home as well as other locations in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Washington, D.C.

The victim worked for Morris from Nov. 2014 to April 2015, and Nov. 2016 to May 2016, and saw approximately 10 customers per day. Morris engaged in sexual activity with the victim, and began beating her a few weeks after she arrived in Bridgeport, the U.S. Attorney's office said.

Police say they found the victim at a hotel in East Hartford after she contacted her mother who called the police. Morris has been in custody since his arrest on August 15.
