Before the crash, Blackburn was accused of stealing an expensive watch from a victim in Milford. Blackburn had met the victim in a Walmart parking lot supposedly to buy the watch for nearly $12,000, but took the watch and fled by car, leaving the victim with an envelope filled with paper instead of cash, according to police.
The victim drove after Blackburn, who got onto I-95; Blackburn ended up crashing into Fonseca-Kennedy as Blackburn got off I-95 southbound at exit 31 in Stratford.
