Bridgeport Man Takes Plea Deal In Stamford Stabbing Case: Report

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Tracey Baker, the Bridgeport man accused of stabbing a food delivery driver in Stamford in 2022, took a plea deal in the case that could see him released from prison in eight to 12 years, the Connecticut Post reported.

Under the plea deal, Baker, 54, will be sentenced to 18 years in prison, which will be suspended after serving eight to 12 years; the exact amount of time served will be determined at his sentencing in February.

Baker reportedly pleaded guilty to first-degree assault, risk of injury to a child, and possession of methamphetamine with the intent to sell. After his prison sentence, Baker will also be on probation for five years.
