BRIDGEPORT, CT — An unnamed Bridgeport resident is $30,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Monday, the person claimed a winning $30,000 Cashword ticket that was bought at AMG Retail on Boston Avenue.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $3 per ticket, began in June 2024, and as of Tuesday, 13 grand prizes of $30,000 remained unclaimed.

Nearly 11.5 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.74.
