The lucky ticket was sold locally, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Bridgeport resident is $100,000 richer this week after claiming a winning CASH5 lottery ticket purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Monday, Shelley S. claimed the winning ticket, which was bought at a Krauszers on Fairfield Avenue.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

CASH5 is a pari-mutuel game, which costs $1 per wager. The top prize is $100,000.

Overall odds of winning vary, but the odds of matching all five numbers for a top prize are 1 in 324,632.
