Bridgeport Resident Wins Big Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Prize

The lucky ticket was sold in Southington, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Bridgeport resident is $100,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased in Southington, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Thursday, Alexis M. claimed a winning $100,000 CA$HWORD ticket that was bought at a Cumberland Farms on West Street in Southington.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $10 per ticket, began in September 2024, and as of Monday, 10 grand prizes of $100,000 remained unclaimed.

More than 5.1 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.13.
