Drive-By Shooter Accidentally Killed Friend in Bridgeport, Police Say: Report

The case has sparked an intense feud between the two families.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Police say a man accidentally shot and killed his friend while they were participating in a drive-by shooting, according to the Connecticut Post. Terrell Evans, 22, is accused of shooting Kyree Kennedy, 22, in the head on May 2.

The families of Evans and Kennedy fought in the courtroom during a previous hearing, spawning judicial marshals to step in. Police say Evans told them he and Kennedy went to Read Street to shoot up a car belonging to a person Kennedy had an issue with.
