BRIDGEPORT, CT — Following a traffic stop Sunday night, Bridgeport police confiscated a loaded Glock 30 handgun, narcotics and more than $1,500 in cash from the suspect, according to authorities.
The incident began after officers pulled over a black Acura TL that failed to use a turn signal while traveling in the area of Ocean Terrace and Wordin Avenue.
"Upon making contact with the driver Gregory Jimenez, he appeared extremely nervous and attempted multiple times to rush the officers through the stop while being uncooperative," wrote Bridgeport Police Capt. Lonnie Blackwell, M.S. in a statement.
