Obituary: Craig Brown, 59, of Bridgeport
Craig, an avid jazz enthusiast, worked for Sikorsky Aircraft and was a decorated U.S Marine.
BRIDGEPORT, CT - (From Pistey Funeral Home) Craig Brown, 59, passed away August 14, 2021, in Bridgeport, CT.
He was born August 16, 1961, in Norwalk CT, to Richard and Edith Brown.
He graduated from Harding High School and immediately enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.
He was enlisted from 1980 to 1986, and was honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal. He received many medals and accolades while enlisted, and came home to work at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford.
As everyone knew, Craig was an avid listener of jazz, and shared his joy of music with everyone.
Craig was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Edith Brown.
He also leaves his siblings, Deirdre McKoy, Stephen Brown, and Collier Brown.
He leaves to cherish his memory two children, Angelica Allen and Miles Brown (Nichole); five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may attend the memorial service on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford with military honors concluding the service.
