Obituary: Edward T. Bugyi Jr, 75, of Bridgeport
Ed proudly served in the U.S. Army and worked as a chef for private clubs and at the Algonquin Club for many years.
BRIDGEPORT, CT - (From Adzima Funeral Home) Edward T. Bugyi Jr, age 75 of Bridgeport, the beloved husband of Carmella Eannuzzi Bugyi, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, in Bridgeport Hospital.
Born in Bridgeport on December 21, 1945 to the late Edward and Elizabeth (Sedlak) Bugyi he has been a lifelong city resident.
Ed was a veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam. He was a retired chef for private clubs and at the Algonquin Club.
Survivors in addition to his beloved wife of 50 years include his devoted son, Michael Bugyi of Bridgeport, his sisters, Evelyn Paget of Florida and Elaine Ryan of South Carolina, several nieces and nephews.
Friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 10-11 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 am in the Funeral Home.
Internment with Full Military Honors will take place in St. John’s Cemetery Stratford.
