• Bridgeport Cannabis Store Part Of $416,000 Settlement With CT Regulators: Attorney General (patch.com) — Bridgeport cannabis shoppers may notice changes after a local Crisp Cannabis store and its sister locations agreed to a $416,000 settlement with Connecticut regulators. State officials say the Bridgeport shop and two others shifted control to a buyer and coordinated pricing and operations before required approvals, and the businesses must now follow strict antitrust and consumer protection rules for three years.
   

• What's up with the former Testo's in Bridgeport? Developer promises to turn 'eyesore' into housing (ctpost.com) — Bridgeport’s former Testo’s banquet hall site in the North End remains a stalled construction zone as the developer works through financing issues and unpaid city property taxes. Neighbors and a local councilman are frustrated by the lingering “eyesore,” while the owner and his Bridgeport-based contractor insist the housing project will eventually move forward once funding and tax matters are resolved.
   

• M&T Bank closing 8 Stop & Shop branches (westfaironline.com) — A Stop & Shop M&T Bank branch at 4531 Main St. in Bridgeport will close on April 30 as part of a wider shutdown of eight in-store locations across Connecticut. The bank, whose state headquarters is in Bridgeport, says it’s reshaping its branch network while maintaining a strong presence, including dozens of locations in Fairfield County.
