BRIDGEPORT, CT — An internal investigation has been launched by the Bridgeport Police Department, after photos appear to show an officer asleep in his cruiser during daylight hours, the Connecticut Post reported.

The photos, which have circulated on social media, reportedly appear to have been taken from outside the passenger side of the cruiser.

Details about when the photos were taken, and who the officer is, were not immediately available.
