Playing In Bridgeport Just Got Pricier

The price to play golf, use the city's parks and fields going up.

BRIDGEPORT--Residents and visitors who want to enjoy the summer sunshine in the city's parks, golf courses and athletic fields will feel a bit more of a burn this season--in their wallets.

According to The Connecticut Post, the city is raising fees for resident park stickers, lighted athletic field use, non-resident weekend parking at Seaside park and rounds of golf at Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course.

Overall, fees are being raised by about $5 for residents, according to The Post.

Non resident parking fees on the weekends at Seaside Park will double, going from $20 to $40, The Post reports.
