Smoke Alert Issued In Bridgeport
Smoke from wildfires in Massachusetts is visible in southern Connecticut, according to authorities.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — The Bridgeport Fire Department issued a smoke advisory Wednesday for the city, due to fires in Massachusetts.
"Due to the Massachusetts fires, the smell of smoke is coming down to Connecticut," authorities wrote on the department's Facebook page. "Those sensitive to air quality should minimize time spent outside and stay indoors when possible."
