Suspects Sought In Smoke Shop Burglary In Bridgeport: Police

Bridgeport police are asking for the public's help in identifying the three suspects.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport police are asking for the public's help in identifying three suspects from the Sept. 23 burglary of the S & B Smoke Shop at 1224 Park Ave. in Bridgeport. See the images above.

Police were called to the scene at about 12:40 a.m. on a report of an altercation outside the shop, after a store employee chased one of the suspects into the street.

The employee had seen the suspect stealing several items before the altercation, according to Capt. Kevin Gilleran, and security footage showed that the suspect had two accomplices.

Members of the department's Robbery/Burglary Squad are investigating the case, and detectives canvassed the area, conducted interviews, and are documenting their findings.

"The Bridgeport Police Department is asking for your help in solving this crime," Gilleran said in a statement. "Anyone with information regarding the identity of the three suspects in the [above] photos are asked to contact the case officer, Detective Kenny McKenna, at 203-581-5245. Citizens can also utilize the Bridgeport Police Tips line at 203 576-TIPS."
