Brookfield Man Arrested For Sexual Assault of Teenage Boy: Police

Police say the man became connected to the teenage boy through a dating app.

DANBURY, CT — Following months of investigation, Danbury police arrested two men on sexual assault charges after a Danbury teen reported he had a sexual encounter with the men back in July. Police said Jamal Jackson, 31, of Brookfield and Timothy Connolly, 57, of New Milford were arrested on warrants Thursday and Friday.

Police said the 15-year-old teen and his parents came to the police station on July 12 to report the encounter, which sparked an investigation by the department's Special Victims Unit. Jackson was arrested while appearing in Danbury Superior Court for an unrelated case.

Connolly later turned himself in after learning of the warrant.
