Thousands of Canton residents have cast their votes in the 2023 municipal elections.

CANTON, CT — The numbers are in and the makeup of Canton's boards and commissions as well as its top elected leader is now set.
The following is Canton's 2023 election results (confirmed winners bolded):

Democrat: Bob Namnoum - 1,561*
Republican: Kevin Witkos - 1,766

Canton Board of Selectmen (vote for two)
Democratic candidates were:
Sarah Hague -1,622
Elizabeth Corklum Winsor - 1,682
Republican candidates were:
Warren Humphrey - 1,479
Timothy B. LeGeyt - 1,726
Democrats have a 3-2 edge on Canton's board of selectmen.
Republican candidates were:
Jordan Toussaint - 1,406
Ken Humphrey - 1,595
Petitioning candidates were:
Richard J. Barlow - 712
Board of Finance - two-year vacancy (vote for one)
Democrat: Katie Kenney -1,670
Republican: Bill Canny -1,632
Board of Education (vote for three)
