Canton: Expect Roadway Delays For Much Of Day Thursday

CANTON, CT — Bridge work slated for Thursday, June 12, could cause delays for motorists for much of the day.

The Canton Department of Public Works said folks traveling on Old Canton Road face those delays due to bridge construction work there.

Delays are especially likely between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., wrote the town on Wednesday.

"The road will remain open, but construction activities may cause temporary delays to motorists," wrote the Canton DPW. "Please seek alternate routes if possible."
