Canton Seeks Applicants For Back-To-School Supplies Program

CANTON, CT — If it seems like summer is only a few weeks old, well, it is.

But it doesn't mean it's too early to start planning for back-to-school time and the Canton Senior & Social Services Department is doing just that.

As a result, starting now and continuing to Friday, July 14, the town is accepting applications for the 2023-24 Back-to-School Supplies Program.

This program aims to help provide Canton students in need with all the necessary items they need when they return to classes after the summer.

It is being conducted with other local organizations, including "Gifts of Love," the "Canton Youth Services Bureau" and the Salvation Army.
