CANTON, CT — Summer is almost over for Canton students, with the first day of school for most students being Thursday, Aug. 29.
Canton High School seniors, however, start a day early on Wednesday, Aug. 28.

Start date: Thursday, Aug. 29 (12th-grade is Wednesday, Aug. 28)
Election Day: Tuesday, Nov. 5

Thanksgiving break: Thursday, Nov. 28, - Friday, Nov. 29.
Winter break: Monday, Dec. 23, to Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Monday, Jan. 20
Presidents Day: Monday, Feb. 17
Spring break: Monday-Friday, April 14-18.
Last day of school (tentative): Tuesday, June 10.
