Growing Restaurant Chain To Open Canton Eatery Feb. 18
The California-based chain specializes in healthy fast food options and Canton's new restaurant will be Connecticut's fourth.

CANTON, CT — Starting next week, visitors to a prominent shopping destination in Canton will have a new place to enjoy a quick meal ... and keep the dietician happy as well.
Los Angeles healthy eatery chain Sweetgreen will open its fourth location in Connecticut in Canton at the Shops of Farmington Valley on Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 110 Albany Turnpike, Suite 911.
The fast-casual restaurant chain offers a full menu of salads, warm bowls, protein plates, and sides.

For the first day, Sweetgreen has some special offers for both the community and customers.
As an example, for every meal purchased on opening day, Sweetgreen will donate a meal to Food Rescue US to nourish people experiencing food insecurity in Hartford County.

In addition, guests will get small flower bouquets from Flower Lab by Angie and iced coffee from Giv Coffee from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. while supplies last.
The new location is 2,300 square feet and it will accommodate up to 32 diners inside and 18 diners outside. Canton's Sweetgreen will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
Though headquartered on the West Coast, Sweetgreen was founded in 2007 in Washington D.C. by three Georgetown University graduates.
Currently, there are about 920 Sweetgreen eateries in 23 U.S. states.
Canton's Sweetgreen will be the chain's fourth in Connecticut, with eateries in Darien, Greenwich and Westport already open. Another one is planned in New Haven.
