Hop Aboard Canton Senior Center’s Monthly Mini-Bus Excursions

Seniors ready for a little festivity and change of pace can hop aboard monthly mini-trips to The Aqua Turf in Plantsville for some daytime fun and food. The Aqua Turf offers an afternoon filled with vibrant entertainment and a bountiful buffet – all catered specifically for seniors. The cost of the trip includes all that the Aqua Turf has to offer along with transportation to and from the Senior Center. (Max 10 people, minimum needed of 6 people) Each ticket is $60 and is payable via cash or check made out to The Town of Canton. The October trip sold out quickly, so RSVP today. A Musical Tribute to Veterans Day and Dance Favorites, November 12, 11:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Along with toe-tapping and dancing, lunch choices include roast beef or pan-seared salmon. RSVP by 10/22 at the Canton Senior Center, 860-693-5811.

Holiday Classics and Sing-Alongs, December 10, 11:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Get in the holiday spirit with a lunch choice of roast turkey or baked cod. RSVP by 11/19 at the Canton Senior Center, 860-693-5811.

A St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, March 11, 2025, 11:00 AM – 3:30 PM. The Mclean Ave Band and Irish Step Dancers will bring the Irish spirit while you enjoy a lunch of corned beef and cabbage and baked cod. RSVP by February 11, 2025 at the Canton Senior Center, 860-693-5811.
