Several nearby districts, including New Hartford, Winsted, and Northwestern Regional, are also delayed as a winter weather advisory remains in effect for much of northern Connecticut.
   

• Canton Woman Accused Of Fleeing Southington Police In Stolen Vehicle: SPD (patch.com) — A Canton resident has been charged in connection with a police investigation into a stolen vehicle that ended with arrests in Southington and assistance from neighboring departments. Authorities say drugs, fireworks, and prohibited weapons were recovered, and both suspects remain in custody on reduced bonds while awaiting upcoming court dates.
   

• East Granby holds off Canton rally to win fourth straight game (collinsvillepress.com) — Canton High’s boys basketball team nearly erased a late seven-point deficit before falling 49–48 to East Granby in a tight North Central Connecticut Conference matchup at home. Canton’s late surge was fueled by Jaden Diaz’s quick seven-point burst, and the Warriors now look to rebound when they host East Windsor on Monday.
