OSHA Course at Segur Agency

Employess from government and private companies in Connecticut recently received certification for OSHA’s 10-Hour Course from Cheshire-based

Training included electrical safety, climbing safety/fall protection, trenching and evacuation safety and state Department of Transportation regulations. H.D. Segur and Travelers provided this service at no cost to their clients to provide safety and risk management training.

Risk Management Specialist Luc-John Pentz said the OSHA program is vital to employee safety. "(It) should help ensure that municipalities and private industries continue to uphold safety regulations," he said.

Participants were from the towns of Plymouth, North Branford and Woodbridge and from the private companies of Walker Crane & Rigging of Plainville and Mohawk Northeast Inc. of Plantsville.
