Drug Arrest in Cheshire School Zone

Teen arrested for selling controlled substance near Cheshire High School

The following arrests and charges as reported by the

Patrick Walters, 18, of Windsor Lock was charged on March 22 with sale of a controlled substance, possession of drugs in a school zone, possession of drug paraphernalia under a half ounce, possession of a burglar tool, larceny in the sixth degree – possession of stolen property, and possession of between a half ounce to four ounces of marijuana.  The incident took place on South Main Street near Higgins Road at around 1:40 a.m.  Walters has a scheduled court date for April 4.

Sunday, March 18

Thomas Applegate, 60, of North Haven was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle and failure to have insurance on South Main Street at 12:46 a.m.

Daniel Guillen, 23, of Wallingford was charged with failure to obey a traffic signal on Main Street at 12:54 a.m.

Alexander Fria, 21, of 240 Moss Farms Rd. was charged with driving under the influence after being observed sleeping in a running vehicle at 396 South Main Street at 2:55 a.m.

Matthew Northrop, 35, of 498 Juniper Lane was charged with evading responsibility and failure to drive in the proper lane at 3:26 a.m.

Kristina Bellard, 28, of Meriden was charged with operating under suspension on Highland Avenue at 4:09 a.m.

Monday, March 19

Alessandra Gleifort, 37, of Bristol was charged with traveling unreasonably fast and operating under suspension on Sperry Road at 4:12 p.m.

Wednesday, March 21

Adrian Morales, 27, of Waterbury was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating under suspension on Main Street at 1:25 a.m.

Joyce Buono, 60, of 214 Mixville Rd. was charged with creating a public disturbance at 266 Mixville Rd. at 12:33 p.m.

Ryan Gurga, 20, of 49 Ives Hill Rd. was charged with operating under suspension, failure to return license plates, and a window tint violation on Main Street at 5:28 p.m.

Scott Suzio, 49, of Meriden was charged with creating a nuisance and allowing a dog to roam at 10 Suffield Court at 5:56 p.m.

Edward Donato, 44 of Wolcott was charged with failure to appear and violation of adult probation at 7:26 p.m.

Brandy Greiner, 37, of Hamden was charged with driving under the influence and following too closely to another vehicle following a two car accident at the intersection of Highland Avenue and Industrial Road at around 11:15 p.m.
