Bomb Threat Investigated At Cheshire High School: Police

The bomb threat was deemed to be false, according to police.

CHESHIRE, CT — Police are investigating a bomb threat, that was deemed to be false, at Cheshire High School on Thursday.

Police said the school received an anonymous bomb threat on Thursday.

“Cheshire School Officials acted swiftly and thanks to the cooperation of Cheshire Police, Fire, and CT State Police, the threat was deemed to be false,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “Cheshire High School is once again open. The Cheshire Police Detective Division has opened an investigation into the incident. Thank you to everyone for their cooperation.”
